President Joe Biden stated on Wednesday that it was his intention to visit the nation’s southern border.
White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said that the president will travel to Mexico City on Monday and Tuesday for meetings with the leaders of both Canada and Mexico, and he is “considering” a visit to the border as part of his trip.
The president has not visited the border up to this point in his term.
